2019, our new programs

Véronique Durruty

The Foundation’s selection committee met on May 7.

While 8 new projects were approved, we have, as part of our 3-year support strategy, pursued nearly 75% of the 2018 partnerships.

This year, the Foundation is supporting 31 philanthropic projects in 17 countries in the areas of child protection, the preservation of the environment and cultures, and economic development.

Our overall philanthropy budget is €129,300.

28% of this budget is devoted to new projects and 15% to emergency humanitarian aid.

Last March, the Foundation was able to donate €7,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) following Cyclone Idai on the east coast of Southern Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

Among our new projects, we are working this year to:

The construction of a new pediatric oncology unit in Togo with VICTOiR

The protection and development of children through skateboarding in South Africa with Skateistan

The construction of a school in Madagascar with J’Irai A l’Ecole (JIAE)

The construction of a rural hospital in Cameroon with Perspective Santé Bingela

Access to entertainment for street youths or detainees in Madagascar with Clowns Sans Frontières

The reconstruction of a school in Nepal with Nepal Green Tara Foundation

The contribution to the school fees of a school in Kenya with Shining Hope For Communities

The construction of a vocational training centre for adolescents in Kenya with  Calleri Early Child Development Centre
