Empower Generation is an association which was created in 2011 to develop access to renewable energy and improve sanitary conditions related to the use of kerosene lamps in Nepal.
The project
Empower Generation distributes solar lamps by the intermediary of women entrepreneurs and is thus involved in their professional development and in regional economic development.
The association facilitates access to clean energy at low costs and improves school conditions for children.
Our action
We are supporting Empower Generation in its distribution of solar lamps to over 1000 homes in the Chitwan province in Nepal.
Since 2013, our commitment has totaled 5,000 €.
