Created in 2000, the association EPICEA works to improve the living conditions of the poorest populations in Nepal, Ladakh and India. EPICEA builds schools and finances access to health care for a hundred children every year.
In the rural areas of Nepal, where the health and social situation pushes the poorest populations to migrate to cities, isolated residents often find themselves in a situation of dire poverty.
Particularly exposed to the region’s extreme climatic conditions, the inhabitants of the Chimding hamlet, which is located at an altitude of 2700 m, have been devastated by the 2015 earthquake.
