HUMANIUM – RWANDA

Humanium is an international association founded in 2008 that works to advocate children’s rights. Currently, there are 2.2 billion children in the world, including nearly 2 billion who live in developing countries.
Despite progress, children’s rights are frequently violated.

The project While Rwanda ranks 167 in the HDI, and 43% of its population are children, Humanium has been leading a project to raise awareness among adults concerning the rights of Rwandan children in 4 regions: Kamonyi, Ruhango, Nyanzo and Gatsibo.   Our engagement Humanium has requested our help to create awareness workshops that respect the Rwandan culture and tradition and which are led by a specialized host, an assistant and an interpreter for 1000 local leaders (professors, mayors, parents and psychologists).   Since 2016, our commitment has totaled 6,500 €.
