Medrassa du Désert which means “Desert School”, is an association created in 2007 that works to provide education to children in Mauritania by improving school buildings and providing teaching supplies and materials.
The project
In 2018, Medrassa du Désert worked for the construction of a school complex which allowed for the enrollment of 130 children from the villages of Tentemdeje and Lemeïleh in the northwestern part of the country.
Our engagement
In 2019, we participate in the rehabilitation of the Tekemeret school and the installation of a water supply system in the village.
Since 2009, our commitment has totaled 11,500 €.
