WOMEN ROCKIN’ PAMIRS – TAJIKISTAN

Created in 2018, Women Rockin’ Pamir (WRIP) is an association which provides assistance to Tajik women by encouraging their empowerment through learning a trade.
In Tajikistan, the magnitude of the economic and financial crisis has had serious social consequences and almost half of the male population works in Russia.



The project WRIP has implemented professional training in the Gorno-Badakchan Autonomous Region (GBAO), also called the Pamir region, which is often affected or isolated by avalanches, landslides or floods.   Our engagement We have participated in the vocational training program for about twenty isolated women and girls.   Since 2018, our commitment totaled 6,000 €.
