EBOLA EMERGENCY

With over 3500 cases including 1900 deaths (source: WHO, on 03 September 2014), the ongoing Ebola epidemic in West Africa is the largest ever recorded since the disease was identified in 1976.

 



The project Starting in the first weeks which followed the appearance of cases in Guinea in March, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) started an intervention designed to provide care to patients and limit the spread of the epidemic. In early September 2014, nearly 2000 Doctors without Borders were present in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.   Our support In 2014, our commitment totaled 14,000 €
