Amigos de la Vida (AMI) is an Ecuadorian foundation for child welfare which was created in 2004.
Its objectives: provide accommodation, health care, and education to children who have been abandoned, abused, or who suffer from a disability and allow them to reintegrate into their family.
The project
Once a week, the association offers accommodation to 80 disadvantaged children aged 0 to 4 and their mothers to accompany a nascent relationship based on respect and kindness.
AMI participates in numerous seminars in Ecuador and intervenes in Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Japan and in various European countries in order to provide training on the implemented educational method.
Our engagement
We participate in the operating costs of AMI which welcomes about fifteen children on a daily basis.
Since 2009, our commitment has totaled 174,000 €.
