Mitsiky, which means “smile” in Malagasy, is a French association created in 2006 that works to protect and provide education for street children in Antsirabe, Madagascar, and professional training for their parents.
The project
21 children are accommodated in a day center, where they are enrolled in school and receive care. A literacy and vocational training center helps their parents to reintegrate.
Our action
We are helping to finance the construction of an overnight accommodation center.
In 2011, our support totaled 5,000 €.
