Solidarité Djiguiya is a Burkinabé association which was created by residents in Sindou following the Ivorian crisis of 2004 and the arrival of children who had lost their parents in their city.
The project
The association helps to provide education to over a hundred children and at the same time works for the economic development of the Senufo region by promoting crafts and solidarity tourism and improving hygienic conditions by sorting waste and waste-to-energy conversion.
Our action
We have helped to install 6 waste collection centers and 50 household trash cans.
Since 2015, our commitment has totaled 6,000 €.
