VILLAGE PILOTE – SENEGAL

Village Pilote is a French association created in 1994 whose main mission is to protect and sustainably reintegrate children and young people from the streets in Senegal.
In Senegal, begging is a common practice: in 2014, 32,000 children were forced to beg in the streets of Dakar.



The project Its actions: Mobile listening, emergency accommodation, prison visits, literacy, awareness and vocational training.   Our engagement We have supported the establishment of a training program in organic agriculture to encourage the professional reintegration of young people, and aim toward more food self-sufficiency in the center of the Village Pilote.   Since 2016, our commitment has totaled 6,000 €.
