Planète Enfants & Développement : solidarity bracelet

Planète Enfants & Développement

In Nepal, the Chepang ethnic group is one of the country’s most disadvantaged minorities. Women in particular are victims of violence and exploitation. Only 1% of them can read or write.

Faced with the covid-19 health crisis, they are all the more vulnerable.  Isolated, and therefore far from basic services, their everyday life is getting worse.

To offer the chance to some young girls of the ethnic group to continue their studies and get out of poverty, Planète Enfants & Développement launches a sale of solidarity bracelet #sengagersansfrontières. One bracelet purchased represents 1 month of boarding school for 1 Chepang schoolgirl and saves her the 7 hours of walking that can separate the college from her village.
